Busy v. Effective?

Oh wow, I need more sleep! My kids have been pushing the summer "late night stay up" strategy too much the past few days and these early mornings - up for work - are doing a number on my stamina.  Which in the grand scheme of things means...I have to end summer late nights...Bummer....but sleep takes precedence.

On another note...sometimes exhaustion comes from being overly busy! Like way to busy. I find this can easily creep in and my goal all year is to keep "busy" at bay. Recently, Sean Croxton (who has just awesome podcasts by the way!!) talked about this very topic - busy v. effective. You can find out more here. Onward toward better sleep...less busy...and more effectiveness...of course, that is after I take a quick power nap.

Tuesday Meal Plan
Breakfast
2 eggs scrambled, one half of a banana, and 1/4 of an avocado (because I am just too sleepy for anything major today!)

Lunch
Grilled burgers, the other 1/4 of that morning avocado and small salad with Tessemae dressing.

Dinner
Chicken and Cabbage Lo Mien (The Defined Dish)

20 min. endurance Treadclimber
10 min. Les Mills Pump Core
Swimming with the kids
